Fennekin got separated from his mother, so a Zoroark mom took him in.
When I first saw Fennekin, my first thought was that he looked like a fire-type version of Zorua, and thus this idea was conceived. And yes, I know Fennekin's feet look dumb in the first two panels. I promise I'll work on it.
